Service Grant History

History of the Award

The first Service Grants were established in 2024 to award five deserving members $2000 grants for 2025-26 to support a term of service through a global or domestic service organization, either post-graduation or between studies. During the June 2026 Board of Directors meeting, the board voted to redistribute the funds to award two members $5000 grants to better support the long-term service. The first grant was named in honor of a long-standing chapter advisor, Deborah Manzanares.
