+ If you need to change your local dues, contact ald@nationalald.org. Chapters can no longer change their own local dues after they have been set.

+ Updated instructions overall after the AMP upgrades - visually and to Invitation Groups 2.0.
    Updated on 1/21/25 with:
+ Custom Invitee Questions now allow for the following answer formats: text, paragraph, multiple choice, checkboxes, and a few other options. (p.2)
+ For custom messages within the invitation and welcome message, if including a hyperlink, you must select “New Window” for Target in order to test your links in the preview window. (p.3)
+ Click on “View Form Results” in an open invitation on the Invitation Report page to see responses to any custom invitee questions. Click on “View Orders” to see any products ordered if you added a product. (p.4)
+ Additional custom email messages can be scheduled. (p.6)

*Please note for custom invitee questions: The checkbox response field should be used when you want to allow for multiple answers from a list to be selected, while the multiple choice response field should be used when you want only one answer selected.

    3.b. Creating a New Code-Based Invitation Group
    Updated on 1/9/2026 with:
+ If you need to change your local dues, contact ald@nationalald.org. Chapters can no longer change their own local dues after they have been set.

  5. Activating Officers & Current Members
    Updated on 1/9/2026 with:
+ slight adjustments to steps and visuals based on the AMP upgrades in late 2025
    Updated on 2/12/25 with:
+ Do not add, edit, or delete any Advisor Positions. These are set by ALD HQ. (This does not include Student Advisor roles – those are considered Officer Positions.) (p.1)

+ For use of “President - Limited” field: If the President field is already filled in with a student, it will not allow you to remove them without replacing it with another student. Add the student to the “President – Limited” position and contact ald@nationalald.org to delete the student from the main President field. (p.1)
+ Do not add, edit, or delete anyone under the Advisor Positions. If you see an error, contact ald@nationalald.org to update the record(s). This is important to ensure we keep historical data on previous advisors and update all necessary records outside of AMP for any new advisors. (p.2)

FAQs:

  • Registered vs. Paid - Registered means an invitee has completed the registration form in AMP but stopped the acceptance process before paying. They are still considered an invitee until paid. Paid means an invitee completed the registration form and submitted payment for the membership dues, they are now considered an inductee. All inductees are automatically transitioned to “Active Member” after the induction date in AMP.
