2016 National Leadership Conference
October 28-30, 2016
Join us in our nation's capital for our annual leadership conference less than two weeks before the 2016 presidential election! Discuss topics most relevant to you and your ALD chapter and meet ALD students and advisors from across the country. Mark your calendars, because this will be a conference you don't want to miss!
We received feedback asking for the ability to ‘reserve your spot’ for the conference without having to identify specific students. We recognize that though many of your chapters plan to send students, you don’t always know exactly who will be attending when the registration form opens. This year, chapters have the ability to ‘reserve a spot’ for up to two students and one advisor, and then submit the updated names and information to Trish (firstname.lastname@example.org) at a later date.
As always, if you know who you will be sending now, the registration form also allows you to fully register. The information needed to fully complete the registration form is: student name, email, phone, gender, t-shirt size, position/office held, dietary restrictions (if any), special accommodations (if any), and emergency contact name and phone number. You will need to submit the registration fee ($35 per person) upon registering and/or reserving spots; registrations are not complete until payment is received.
Alpha Lambda Delta chapters may bring a maximum of two students and one advisor. This is to allow for as many schools as possible to be represented, and we are limited to 200 total participants. If we do not reach our capacity, we will consider more than two students from a chapter. If you are interested in bringing more than two students, you may submit their information on the Wait List. The Wait List will be contacted at the end of September, if availability exists. You do not need to submit the registration fee for Wait List students.

The conference will be held at the Washington Court Hotel, a few blocks from the Capitol Building. The National Office of Alpha Lambda Delta will book your room with the hotel. You may request a roommate, or we can assign one for you. The hotel is in walking distance to the National Mall (museum district).
Conference registration is $35 per person.
National Alpha Lambda Delta will cover the costs of your hotel room, meals, and materials for the conference. You and/or your chapter must cover all travel costs. Detailed travel information (from the airports and train stations) will be available in June to assist you in finding the most effective way to travel.
